FUN WAY TO INTRODUCE ELECTRIC VEHICLES TO SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY
I believe creating long term identity for students would help retain non academic students at my College. This is just one idea that I may have mentioned in the past but in the current student retention problem, is worthy of mentioning yet again.
I would love to (with students) Design, build and manage a multi-lane 'Retro' Slot Car track where ALL students can race their hand built vehicles. A great deal of learning and research could be incorporated in well organised and supported course.
Sections categories and ideas:
Year 8 through to 12 having different category of vehicles
Different body category (open wheeler, classic cars etc)
Retro models signage, scenery wild life all created in College (3D printing,Photoshop, painting etc)
Retro Vehicles built in the College workshops, poster competition etc
Track design: from the best touring roads in the world ( Tasmanian or Symmons Plains
Winter lunchtime racing...Championships Events, published on Facebook[
Car yard for resale of x students vehicles
Hire out to community groups ?
AND THE LIST GOES ON
