As a young lad I loved the Scouts . I loved the way we learned through challenges and competitive games. I also loved the collecting of 'Badges' as a reward for hard work, so over time I amassed an impressive collection.
With the use of modern technology like Moodle (LMS) students can also collect badges. It is a proven fact that Gamification in education can improve engagement. Please confirm this statement in your preferred online forum.
and start thinking about game-design elements and game principles in non-game contexts. Your schools will be much richer for it.

I am confused. Most Leadership teams use data to explain all sorts of things but when it comes to Student Learning they find it difficult to implement digital technology like Moodle to collect data in their schools. In Australia we have NAPLAN National testing and that's causes major stress in everyone.

A much better way to use LMS technology is to reward the users, no matter how many times they take a 'quiz ' Gamification in Education can improve engagement in subject content .

I encourage Leadership to use data collecting tools like Moodle to improve learning and teaching.
